Film "Lawrence: Free State Fortress"

View an excellent 27-minute docu-drama. The film chronicles the first 10 years of Lawrence's history and culminates with Quantrill's Raid on the city in 1863. This is a good introduction to Lawrence's fiery beginnings. Reservations required.

Lawrence City Step-on-Guided Tour

Your step-on guide will lead you on a tour that will give you an overview of the entire city. Traveling through out the city you will learn about Lawrence's fiery history, today's Lawrence, Haskell Indian Nations University and the University of Kansas.
