Chiara String Quartet

The Chiara String Quartet makes its much-anticipated return to the Lied Center stage. The ensemble is known for performing contemporary classical music and the masterworks of string quartet repertoire in established concert venues as well as non-traditional locations including bars and art galleries, shattering the established boundaries of the concert music setting. Among other works, Chiara will perform Gabriela Lena Frank’s Milagros (Miracles), inspired by the composer’s mother’s homeland of Peru.
