FLIKS (Film Lovers in Kansas) presentations feature three short films, each approximately 10 minutes in length, that share a common theme, followed by a facilitated discussion. There’s No Place Like Home includes a light-hearted look at the uniqueness of The Cawker City Twine-A-Thon; All That Remains, an introspective look at the lessons from home that we pass on to our children; and Rebuilding Greensburg, a story that reshapes our vision of home. Tom Prasch, professor of history at Washburn University, will lead the discussion. Co-sponsored by the Kansas Humanities Council.
