Kansas Tornadoes

One of the most persistent icons of Kansas is the tornado. These storms capture imagination whether they are the subject of fiction and films, or making headlines with their power and destruction. To explore tornadoes and their place in the state, the KU Natural History Museum will offer "Kansas Tornado," a traveling exhibit by the Kansas Historical Society. The exhibit is testimony to the destruction caused by and peculiarities of these awesome storms in Kansas.
